Paula D. Tarpey

Paula is a strong leader in the financial community and she has been an integral part of Kensington Wealth Partners’ success for over 20 years. Paula infuses wisdom and caring into everything we do with the goal to provide not only results but knowledge and individualized guidance to each of our clients.

Prior to joining Kensington, Paula gained more than a decade of experience in commercial and private banking with several years in investment banking–specifically in the telecommunications and technology industries–focusing on access to capital and financing opportunities.

Paula is a published author and is often requested to speak to national audiences on financial planning topics. She has a gift for uncovering the nuances that often come with individual financial planning and specifically excels in the design process of financial, estate and investment planning. Most importantly, Paula is proactive in helping clients take action toward their goals.

Paula is passionate about serving her community. She is a founding member of Women Giving Together of Delaware County, a giving circle helping to support unfilled needs in her community. She is actively involved with the Delaware County Foundation, currently serving as Vice Chair and heading its investment committee. In addition, she serves as a board member for Partnerships for Authentic Learning and Leadership, and has served on the board of trustees for Center for New Directions (United Way agency), and as director of campaign fundraising for Olentangy for Kids.

While away from the office and her civic commitments, Paula and her husband love to travel to visit their two children living in Des Moines, Iowa and Chicago, Illinois. Paula is a big sports fan, especially of her favorite Ohio teams: the Browns, Cavaliers and Guardians. She also enjoys an active lifestyle working out, lifting weights, hiking and taking walks with her beloved rescue dog Otto.

Paula received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and holds the Series 7 securities registration through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
