
Paula D. Tarpey
Director of Wealth Management and Partner
Paula believes in the process of planning and the value to each individual and family. Once she is assured the analytics are sound, she has a bias to action. She ensures that all of our clients' financial plan objectives are met by interfacing with their legal and accounting advisors and other national planning design resources. She has faithfully served Kensington Wealth Partners clients since 2001.
Paula also participates in the design process of financial, estate and investment planning, and tax reduction and charitable giving strategies, and is responsible for investment portfolio design and execution. She develops strategies for overall risk management and solutions for concentrated stock positions.
Prior to joining Kensington Wealth, Paula worked in commercial and private banking for over ten years with several years in investment banking, specifically in the telecommunications and technology industry focusing on access to capital and financing opportunities.
Paula received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She holds the Series 7 securities registration through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Paula has been honored with national speaking engagements on the topics of financial planning case design, portfolio investment tools for charitable foundations and practice management. Locally, she has presented to women's business organizations. She is a contributing author of a new book titled, Master Your Financial Success.
She has held leadership positions within a number of business and social organizations. Paula is a Founding Member of Women Giving Together of Delaware County, a giving circle helping to support unfilled needs in her community. She also serves on the Grants Committee of the Delaware County Foundation, of which she is a full member of the board. Other past volunteer activities include Board of Trustees for Center for New Directions (United Way agency), Mayor's Equal Business Opportunity Council, and Director of Campaign Fundraising for Olentangy For Kids.
Paula is married, has two children, and lives in Lewis Center, Ohio. She has two rescue dogs and she is passionate about the promotion of dog rescue. In her free time she enjoys working out, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
